Overview

Duties

- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, cutting, grinding, or shaping as necessary to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Remove rust, scale, or other contaminants from metal surfaces to facilitate proper weld penetration.
Quality Control:
- Inspect welds for defects, such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion, and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired weld quality and integrity.

Qualifications:
