Overview

Duties

- Reviewing delivery schedules, route maps, and navigation systems to plan the most efficient route for timely and accurate deliveries.
- Navigating through traffic, road closures, and construction zones while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Delivery and Pickup:
- Delivering goods, packages, or passengers to designated locations within specified timeframes, following delivery instructions and obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Assisting with the unloading of cargo or packages at delivery locations and verifying shipment quantities and condition with recipients.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of van being operated
- A clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations, accidents, or license suspensions, demonstrating safe and responsible driving behavior.
- Previous experience as a van driver or in a related driving role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Good physical health and stamina to handle the demands of driving, loading, and unloading cargo, including the ability to lift and move heavy packages or equipment as needed.
