Duties

Passenger Transportation:

  • Pick up passengers from designated locations such as taxi stands, airports, hotels, or by responding to customer calls or hails on the street.
  • Safely transport passengers to their requested destinations using the most efficient routes, considering traffic conditions, road closures, and construction zones.

Customer Service:

  • Greet passengers courteously and assist them with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, especially those with special needs or mobility challenges.
  • Provide assistance with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or other belongings, ensuring they are securely stowed during transit.

Navigation and Route Planning:

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, landmarks, and popular destinations to navigate efficiently without relying solely on GPS or navigation devices.
  • Stay informed about traffic patterns, road closures, and alternative routes to avoid delays and provide timely service to passengers.

Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the taxi interior, including seating areas, windows, and door handles, to ensure a pleasant and hygienic environment for passengers.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues, fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety equipment such as seatbelts and first aid kits.

Qualifications:
