Overview
The Steel Fixer is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing steel reinforcement bars (rebar) in concrete structures, such as buildings, bridges, and roads. They play a critical role in the construction industry, ensuring the structural integrity, stability, and durability of concrete elements by reinforcing them with steel.
Duties
Reading and Interpreting Plans:
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or specifications to determine the layout and placement of reinforcement bars.

Fabrication and Assembly:
- Cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement bars to the required dimensions and configurations using specialized tools and equipment.

Installation and Fixing:
- Place and secure reinforcement bars within concrete forms or structures, ensuring they are properly positioned and anchored.
