Overview

Duties

Packaging:

  • Prepare and pack goods into containers, boxes, or packages according to specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure that products are securely packed to prevent damage during transit and storage.

Labeling and Marking:

  • Affix labels, tags, or stickers to packages with product information, barcodes, shipping labels, and other necessary markings.
  • Verify accuracy of labeling and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Quality Control:

  • Inspect products for defects, damages, or discrepancies before packaging.
  • Remove defective or substandard items and report quality issues to supervisors or quality control personnel.

Assembly and Kit Packing:

  • Assemble components or parts into finished products, kits, or sets as required.
  • Pack assembled products into appropriate packaging materials and containers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience in packing, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in packing tasks.
  • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities.
