Duties

Patient Care:

Health Education:

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address their questions, concerns, and preferences regarding care.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Document nursing interventions, medication administrations, and patient responses according to established protocols and regulations.

Patient Advocacy:

  • Advocate for patients' rights, dignity, and preferences in all aspects of care.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure their needs are addressed and their voices are heard.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid nursing license or registration in the respective jurisdiction.
  • Clinical experience in healthcare settings, preferably in areas such as hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, patient assessment, and nursing interventions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
