Overview
The Marble Cutter/Installer is responsible for cutting, shaping, and installing marble, granite, or other stone surfaces in various construction projects. Duties
Material Preparation:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications to determine the required dimensions and layout of marble or stone surfaces.
- Measure, mark, and cut marble or stone slabs to fit specific dimensions using specialized tools and equipment.
Surface Fabrication:
- Shape, polish, and finish marble or stone surfaces to achieve desired textures, edges, and appearances.
- Use hand or power tools such as saws, grinders, and polishers to create precise cuts and finishes on marble or stone materials.
Installation and Assembly:
- Install marble or stone surfaces in accordance with established patterns, designs, and layout specifications.
- Apply adhesive or mortar to secure marble or stone slabs to walls, floors, countertops, or other surfaces.
Sealing and Finishing:
- Apply sealants, coatings, or finishes to marble or stone surfaces to enhance durability, protect against stains, and maintain appearance.

Qualifications
