Overview
The Hairdresser is responsible for providing a range of hair care and styling services to clients. This role involves consulting with clients, recommending suitable hairstyles, cutting, coloring, and styling hair, and maintaining a clean and welcoming salon environment.
Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences, and recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments.
- Perform haircuts, trims, and styles for men, women, and children, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to the latest trends and techniques.
- Apply hair coloring, highlights, and other chemical treatments, following client specifications and ensuring the safe use of products.
- Provide hair care treatments such as deep conditioning, scalp treatments, and other specialized services to improve hair health and appearance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon environment, including cleaning workstations and equipment, and following all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hairdresser or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience with a diverse range of hair types and styles.
- Creative flair and a keen eye for detail.
