Garage Assistant

# Assisting Technicians:

• Assist technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Retrieve tools, equipment, and parts for technicians during service appointments.
• Learn from experienced technicians and develop hands-on skills in automotive repair.

# Organizing Inventory:

• Maintain inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and stocking automotive parts and supplies.
• Keep track of inventory using computerized systems and ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder items as needed to prevent shortages.

# Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Keep the garage clean and organized by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing oil, replacing filters, and lubricating equipment.
• Ensure that equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained.

# Customer Assistance:

• Greet customers and assist them with vehicle drop-off and pick-up procedures.
• Answer phone calls and schedule service appointments as needed.
• Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers with inquiries or concerns.

# Safety Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the garage.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and use safety devices as required.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to the garage manager immediately.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an automotive garage or related field preferred.
