Forklift Operator

Material Handling

• Operate forklifts to transport materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines.

Loading and Unloading

• Safely load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and shelves while ensuring the integrity of the materials.

Inventory Management

• Assist in inventory control by keeping accurate records of materials moved and reporting any discrepancies.

Equipment Maintenance

• Perform routine checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe operating procedures.

Collaboration

• Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.

Documentation

• Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery tickets and inventory logs, to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of forklift training and certification is required.
• Previous experience as a forklift operator or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials; comfortable working in various environments.
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy to prevent accidents and ensure efficient operations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
