The Flooring Installer is responsible for installing various types of flooring materials, such as hardwood, laminate, tile, carpet, or vinyl, in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Duties
# Surface Preparation:
- Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them as needed.
- Remove old flooring materials and ensure the substrate is suitable for installation.
# Layout and Measurement:
- Accurately measure and plan the layout of flooring materials according to specifications and blueprints.
- Mark out guidelines to ensure precise installation.
# Installation Techniques:
- Utilize appropriate installation techniques for various types of flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, tile, or vinyl.
- Ensure proper adhesive application, cutting, and fitting of flooring materials.
# Finishing and Detailing:
- Complete flooring installations with attention to detail, ensuring seams are properly aligned and transitions are seamless.
- Trim and finish edges as needed for a polished final appearance.
# Quality Control and Inspection:
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the installation process to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Inspect finished installations for defects and make necessary corrections.
Qualification:
