# Cable Installation:

• Assist in the installation of fiber optic cables in various environments, including underground, aerial, and indoor settings.
• Ensure precise placement and routing of cables according to project specifications and safety standards.

# Fusion Splicing:

• Perform fusion splicing of fiber optic cables to create reliable and low-loss connections.
• Utilize fusion splicing equipment and techniques to achieve optimal splice performance.

# Connectorization:

• Terminate fiber optic cables with connectors using precision techniques.
• Inspect and test connector terminations to ensure proper alignment and signal integrity.

# Testing and Troubleshooting:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of fiber optic cables using optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) and other testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose network issues, implementing corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.

# Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of cable installations, splicing activities, and test results.
• Generate detailed reports documenting project progress, as well as any issues encountered during installation or testing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fiber optic cable installation, fusion splicing, and connectorization.
• Proficiency in using fusion splicing equipment and fiber optic testing tools.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic cable standards and best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex network problems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications such as CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) are highly desirable.
