Overview
The Bricklayer is responsible for constructing or repairing brick, stone, or concrete structures, such as walls, chimneys, and patios, using specialized tools and techniques. Duties
# Layout and Preparation:
- Prepare construction sites by setting out lines and levels for building projects.
- Lay foundations and prepares surfaces for bricklaying.
# Bricklaying and Masory Work:
- Lay bricks,blosck or stones using various techniques to construct walls, arches, and other structures.
- Perform masonry work including pointing, rendering and fishing surfaces.
# Cutting and Shaping:
- Cut bricks, blocks, or stones to size using saws, chisels, or other cutting tools.
- Shape bricks or stones to fit specific desings or architectural requirements.
# Repair and Restoration:
- Repair and restore existing brickwork or masonry structures.
- Replace damaged bricks or stones and match new materials to existing ones.
# Safety and Quality Control:
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all bricklaying and masonry work, checking for accuracy and precision.
Qualifications:
